ABOUT THE TEACHER, APRIL MUELLER
April is passionate about the many benefits yoga has to offer and is grateful every day to be able to share her love of yoga with others. She believes that through the practice of yoga, there is no limit to how much one can grow and heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. April has been practicing yoga since 2006 which has helped her to become healthier and stronger, heal from an ankle injury and most
importantly to be able to grow and connect with her spirituality and recognize her life purpose. Her practice is always evolving and she is always learning, which helps her to connect with her students through her own experiences, struggles and successes.
April received her 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha certification in January 2014 in Rishikesh, India, and is currently continuing her education through Kindness Yoga’s 500 hour teacher training program. Because of her classical training in India, her teaching style is alignment focused with an emphasis on flowing with breath, integrating pranayama and meditation, and turning the focus inward for deeper contemplation. She teaches Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Beginners Yoga and is available for private lessons.

2 – 4pm
$25 per person // Groupons can’t be redeemed for workshops
Yin yoga is one of the most healing forms of yoga for the body, mind and soul. Unlike the muscular yang practice of most yoga classes today, Yin yoga poses are held for 3-5 minutes commonly seated or lying down, using props so that the muscles can soften and relax. This allows the deep connective tissue to open which can release emotional and/or physical scar tissue and trapped energy. Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, is a guided meditation that brings you to a state of consciousness between wake and sleep and full body relaxation.
Join April to experience the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of this beautiful combination of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. You will first be guided through a 90-minute themed Yin Yoga class that will relax and prepare your body and mind for a 30-minute Yoga Nidra guided meditation that will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized yet still grounded.
