My friend Renu from teacher training sent me an article recently about the popularity of nude yoga, as we’ve had requests for lessons…in the buff. That’s what I get for posting on Craigslist…
We both said no, but apparently this is becoming a whole other side of yoga, especially in NYC.
Naked Yoga NYC – Expose Your Asana (clever tagline) is a studio in New York specializing in nude yoga. Of course, most places are practicing in this way to “celebrate and liberate the body from restrictive clothing.”
More power to you…but I think I will keep practicing my down dog with pants on.
